How To Uninstall xul-ext-certificatepatrol On Debian 9

To uninstall xul-ext-certificatepatrol just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xul-ext-certificatepatrol

Certificate Monitor for Iceweasel/Icedove/IceapeDebian 9.0web2.0.14-5
sudo apt-get remove xul-ext-certificatepatrol

This will remove just the xul-ext-certificatepatrol package itself.

Uninstall xul-ext-certificatepatrol and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xul-ext-certificatepatrol

This will remove the xul-ext-certificatepatrol package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xul-ext-certificatepatrol then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xul-ext-certificatepatrol

Or similarly, like this xul-ext-certificatepatrol

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xul-ext-certificatepatrol
