How To Uninstall firmware-qlogic on stretch

To uninstall firmware-qlogic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firmware-qlogic

Binary firmware for QLogic HBAs Debian 9.0 non-free/kernel 20161130-3

sudo apt-get remove firmware-qlogic

Which will remove just the firmware-qlogic package itself.

Uninstall firmware-qlogic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firmware-qlogic

This will remove the firmware-qlogic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firmware-qlogic then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firmware-qlogic  

Or similarly, like this firmware-qlogic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firmware-qlogic
