How To Uninstall python-pycsw on stretch

To uninstall python-pycsw just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-pycsw

OGC compliant metadata (Catalogue service for the Web) server - Python 2 Debian 9.0 non-free/python 2.0.2+dfsg-1

sudo apt-get remove python-pycsw

Which will remove just the python-pycsw package itself.

Uninstall python-pycsw and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-pycsw

This will remove the python-pycsw package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-pycsw then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-pycsw  

Or similarly, like this python-pycsw

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-pycsw
