How To Uninstall ruby-pgplot-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall ruby-pgplot-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-pgplot-dbg

Ruby-PGPLOT debugging symbolsDebian 7.0contrib/debug0.1.3-6
sudo apt-get remove ruby-pgplot-dbg

This will remove just the ruby-pgplot-dbg package itself.

Uninstall ruby-pgplot-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-pgplot-dbg

This will remove the ruby-pgplot-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-pgplot-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-pgplot-dbg

Or similarly, like this ruby-pgplot-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-pgplot-dbg
