How To Uninstall abiword-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall abiword-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just abiword-dbg

debugging symbols for abiword word processorDebian 7.0debug2.9.2+svn20120603-8
sudo apt-get remove abiword-dbg

This will remove just the abiword-dbg package itself.

Uninstall abiword-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove abiword-dbg

This will remove the abiword-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for abiword-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge abiword-dbg

Or similarly, like this abiword-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove abiword-dbg
