How To Uninstall bacula-fd-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall bacula-fd-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bacula-fd-dbg

network backup service – file daemon (debugging)Debian 7.0debug5.2.6+dfsg-9
sudo apt-get remove bacula-fd-dbg

This will remove just the bacula-fd-dbg package itself.

Uninstall bacula-fd-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bacula-fd-dbg

This will remove the bacula-fd-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bacula-fd-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bacula-fd-dbg

Or similarly, like this bacula-fd-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bacula-fd-dbg
