How To Uninstall emacs-jabber On Debian 7
To uninstall emacs-jabber just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just emacs-jabber
http://installion.co.uk/debian/wheezy/main/e/emacs-jabber/uninstall/index.htmlJabber client for EmacsenDebian 7.0net0.8.0-3sudo apt-get remove emacs-jabber
This will remove just the emacs-jabber package itself.
Uninstall emacs-jabber and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove emacs-jabber
This will remove the emacs-jabber package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for emacs-jabber then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge emacs-jabber
Or similarly, like this emacs-jabber
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove emacs-jabber
