How To Uninstall fadecut On Debian 7

To uninstall fadecut just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fadecut

toolset to rip audiostreams, cut, fade in/out and tag the resulting audiofilesDebian 7.0sound0.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove fadecut

This will remove just the fadecut package itself.

Uninstall fadecut and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fadecut

This will remove the fadecut package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fadecut then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fadecut

Or similarly, like this fadecut

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fadecut
