How To Uninstall fcitx-module-dbus On Debian 7

To uninstall fcitx-module-dbus just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcitx-module-dbus

Flexible Input Method Framework – D-Bus module and IPC frontendDebian 7.0utils1:4.2.4.1-7
sudo apt-get remove fcitx-module-dbus

This will remove just the fcitx-module-dbus package itself.

Uninstall fcitx-module-dbus and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcitx-module-dbus

This will remove the fcitx-module-dbus package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcitx-module-dbus then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcitx-module-dbus

Or similarly, like this fcitx-module-dbus

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcitx-module-dbus
