How To Uninstall ibam on wheezy

To uninstall ibam just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ibam

Advanced battery monitor for laptops Debian 7.0 utils 1:0.5.2-2.1

sudo apt-get remove ibam

Which will remove just the ibam package itself.

Uninstall ibam and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ibam

This will remove the ibam package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ibam then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ibam  

Or similarly, like this ibam

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ibam
