How To Uninstall japa On Debian 7

To uninstall japa just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just japa

JACK and ALSA Perceptual AnalyserDebian 7.0sound0.6.0-2
sudo apt-get remove japa

This will remove just the japa package itself.

Uninstall japa and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove japa

This will remove the japa package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for japa then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge japa

Or similarly, like this japa

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove japa
