How To Uninstall jazip On Debian 7

To uninstall jazip just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jazip

Mount and unmount Iomega Zip and/or Jaz drivesDebian 7.0utils0.34-15.1
sudo apt-get remove jazip

This will remove just the jazip package itself.

Uninstall jazip and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jazip

This will remove the jazip package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jazip then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jazip

Or similarly, like this jazip

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jazip
