How To Uninstall jbossas4 On Debian 7

To uninstall jbossas4 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jbossas4

JBoss Application ServerDebian 7.0java4.2.3.GA-7
sudo apt-get remove jbossas4

This will remove just the jbossas4 package itself.

Uninstall jbossas4 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jbossas4

This will remove the jbossas4 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jbossas4 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jbossas4

Or similarly, like this jbossas4

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jbossas4
