How To Uninstall jclassinfo On Debian 7

To uninstall jclassinfo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jclassinfo

extracts information from Java class filesDebian 7.0java0.19.1-6
sudo apt-get remove jclassinfo

This will remove just the jclassinfo package itself.

Uninstall jclassinfo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jclassinfo

This will remove the jclassinfo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jclassinfo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jclassinfo

Or similarly, like this jclassinfo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jclassinfo
