How To Uninstall jesred On Debian 7

To uninstall jesred just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jesred

A redirector for the Squid proxyDebian 7.0web1.2pl1-17
sudo apt-get remove jesred

This will remove just the jesred package itself.

Uninstall jesred and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jesred

This will remove the jesred package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jesred then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jesred

Or similarly, like this jesred

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jesred
