How To Uninstall jftp On Debian 7

To uninstall jftp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jftp

Java GUI client for FTP, SMB, SFTP and NFSDebian 7.0net1.52+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove jftp

This will remove just the jftp package itself.

Uninstall jftp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jftp

This will remove the jftp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jftp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jftp

Or similarly, like this jftp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jftp
