How To Uninstall jimsh On Debian 7

To uninstall jimsh just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jimsh

small-footprint implementation of Tcl named JimDebian 7.0devel0.73-3
sudo apt-get remove jimsh

This will remove just the jimsh package itself.

Uninstall jimsh and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jimsh

This will remove the jimsh package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jimsh then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jimsh

Or similarly, like this jimsh

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jimsh
