How To Uninstall jlex On Debian 7

To uninstall jlex just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jlex

A Lex-style lexical analyser generator for JavaDebian 7.0java1.2.6-6
sudo apt-get remove jlex

This will remove just the jlex package itself.

Uninstall jlex and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jlex

This will remove the jlex package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jlex then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jlex

Or similarly, like this jlex

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jlex
