How To Uninstall joe-jupp On Debian 7

To uninstall joe-jupp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just joe-jupp

reimplement the joe Debian package using juppDebian 7.0editors3.1.21-1
sudo apt-get remove joe-jupp

This will remove just the joe-jupp package itself.

Uninstall joe-jupp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove joe-jupp

This will remove the joe-jupp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for joe-jupp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge joe-jupp

Or similarly, like this joe-jupp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove joe-jupp
