How To Uninstall jparse On Debian 7

To uninstall jparse just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jparse

JSON parser utilityDebian 7.0utils1.4.0-3
sudo apt-get remove jparse

This will remove just the jparse package itself.

Uninstall jparse and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jparse

This will remove the jparse package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jparse then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jparse

Or similarly, like this jparse

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jparse
