How To Uninstall lib32gcc1-dbg on wheezy

To uninstall lib32gcc1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just lib32gcc1-dbg

GCC support library (debug symbols) Debian 7.0 debug 1:4.7.2-5

sudo apt-get remove lib32gcc1-dbg

Which will remove just the lib32gcc1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall lib32gcc1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lib32gcc1-dbg

This will remove the lib32gcc1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for lib32gcc1-dbg then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge lib32gcc1-dbg  

Or similarly, like this lib32gcc1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lib32gcc1-dbg
