How To Uninstall libadasockets4-dev on wheezy

To uninstall libadasockets4-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libadasockets4-dev

bindings for socket services in Ada Debian 7.0 libdevel 1.8.10-2

sudo apt-get remove libadasockets4-dev

Which will remove just the libadasockets4-dev package itself.

Uninstall libadasockets4-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libadasockets4-dev

This will remove the libadasockets4-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libadasockets4-dev then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libadasockets4-dev  

Or similarly, like this libadasockets4-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libadasockets4-dev
