How To Uninstall libclhep-dev on wheezy

To uninstall libclhep-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libclhep-dev

CLHEP Debian 7.0 libdevel 2.1.2.3-1

sudo apt-get remove libclhep-dev

Which will remove just the libclhep-dev package itself.

Uninstall libclhep-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libclhep-dev

This will remove the libclhep-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libclhep-dev then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libclhep-dev  

Or similarly, like this libclhep-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libclhep-dev
