How To Uninstall libdconf0 on wheezy

To uninstall libdconf0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdconf0

simple configuration storage system - runtime library Debian 7.0 libs 0.12.1-3

sudo apt-get remove libdconf0

Which will remove just the libdconf0 package itself.

Uninstall libdconf0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdconf0

This will remove the libdconf0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdconf0 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdconf0  

Or similarly, like this libdconf0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdconf0
