How To Uninstall libedataserver1.2-dev on wheezy

To uninstall libedataserver1.2-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libedataserver1.2-dev

Utility library for evolution data servers (development files) Debian 7.0 libdevel 3.4.4-3+deb7u1

sudo apt-get remove libedataserver1.2-dev

Which will remove just the libedataserver1.2-dev package itself.

Uninstall libedataserver1.2-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libedataserver1.2-dev

This will remove the libedataserver1.2-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libedataserver1.2-dev then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libedataserver1.2-dev  

Or similarly, like this libedataserver1.2-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libedataserver1.2-dev
