How To Uninstall libfontforge1 on wheezy

To uninstall libfontforge1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfontforge1

font editor - runtime library Debian 7.0 libs 0.0.20120101+git-2

sudo apt-get remove libfontforge1

Which will remove just the libfontforge1 package itself.

Uninstall libfontforge1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfontforge1

This will remove the libfontforge1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfontforge1 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfontforge1  

Or similarly, like this libfontforge1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfontforge1
