How To Uninstall libfreeradius2 on wheezy

To uninstall libfreeradius2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfreeradius2

FreeRADIUS shared library Debian 7.0 libs 2.1.12+dfsg-1.2

sudo apt-get remove libfreeradius2

Which will remove just the libfreeradius2 package itself.

Uninstall libfreeradius2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfreeradius2

This will remove the libfreeradius2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfreeradius2 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfreeradius2  

Or similarly, like this libfreeradius2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfreeradius2
