How To Uninstall libfuse2 on wheezy

To uninstall libfuse2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libfuse2

Filesystem in Userspace (library) Debian 7.0 libs 2.9.0-2+deb7u2

sudo apt-get remove libfuse2

Which will remove just the libfuse2 package itself.

Uninstall libfuse2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libfuse2

This will remove the libfuse2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libfuse2 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libfuse2  

Or similarly, like this libfuse2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libfuse2
