How To Uninstall libgdcm2.2-dbg on wheezy

To uninstall libgdcm2.2-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgdcm2.2-dbg

Grassroots DICOM runtime libraries, debug version Debian 7.0 debug 2.2.0-14.1

sudo apt-get remove libgdcm2.2-dbg

Which will remove just the libgdcm2.2-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgdcm2.2-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgdcm2.2-dbg

This will remove the libgdcm2.2-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgdcm2.2-dbg then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgdcm2.2-dbg  

Or similarly, like this libgdcm2.2-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgdcm2.2-dbg
