How To Uninstall libglobus-ftp-client2 on wheezy

To uninstall libglobus-ftp-client2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglobus-ftp-client2

Globus Toolkit - GridFTP Client Library Debian 7.0 libs 7.3-1

sudo apt-get remove libglobus-ftp-client2

Which will remove just the libglobus-ftp-client2 package itself.

Uninstall libglobus-ftp-client2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglobus-ftp-client2

This will remove the libglobus-ftp-client2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglobus-ftp-client2 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglobus-ftp-client2  

Or similarly, like this libglobus-ftp-client2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglobus-ftp-client2
