How To Uninstall libglobus-gridftp-server6 on wheezy

To uninstall libglobus-gridftp-server6 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglobus-gridftp-server6

Globus Toolkit - Globus GridFTP Server Debian 7.0 libs 6.10-2

sudo apt-get remove libglobus-gridftp-server6

Which will remove just the libglobus-gridftp-server6 package itself.

Uninstall libglobus-gridftp-server6 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglobus-gridftp-server6

This will remove the libglobus-gridftp-server6 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglobus-gridftp-server6 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglobus-gridftp-server6  

Or similarly, like this libglobus-gridftp-server6

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglobus-gridftp-server6
