How To Uninstall libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0 on wheezy

To uninstall libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0

Globus Toolkit - Globus GSI Proxy Core Library Debian 7.0 libs 6.2-1

sudo apt-get remove libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0

Which will remove just the libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0 package itself.

Uninstall libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0

This will remove the libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0  

Or similarly, like this libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglobus-gsi-proxy-core0
