How To Uninstall libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1 on wheezy

To uninstall libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1

Globus Toolkit - Globus GSI System Config Library Debian 7.0 libs 5.2-1

sudo apt-get remove libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1

Which will remove just the libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1 package itself.

Uninstall libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1

This will remove the libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1  

Or similarly, like this libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglobus-gsi-sysconfig1
