How To Uninstall libgsoap2 on wheezy

To uninstall libgsoap2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgsoap2

Runtime libraries for gSOAP Debian 7.0 libs 2.8.7-2

sudo apt-get remove libgsoap2

Which will remove just the libgsoap2 package itself.

Uninstall libgsoap2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgsoap2

This will remove the libgsoap2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgsoap2 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgsoap2  

Or similarly, like this libgsoap2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgsoap2
