How To Uninstall libplumbgpl2 on wheezy

To uninstall libplumbgpl2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libplumbgpl2

Reusable cluster libraries -- libplumbgpl2 Debian 7.0 libs 1.0.9+hg2665-1

sudo apt-get remove libplumbgpl2

Which will remove just the libplumbgpl2 package itself.

Uninstall libplumbgpl2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libplumbgpl2

This will remove the libplumbgpl2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libplumbgpl2 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libplumbgpl2  

Or similarly, like this libplumbgpl2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libplumbgpl2
