How To Uninstall libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal on wheezy

To uninstall libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal

Pluggable Authentication Modules for SASL (GSSAPI) Debian 7.0 libs 2.1.25.dfsg1-6+deb7u1

sudo apt-get remove libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal

Which will remove just the libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal package itself.

Uninstall libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal

This will remove the libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal  

Or similarly, like this libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libsasl2-modules-gssapi-heimdal
