How To Uninstall maxima-doc On Debian 7

To uninstall maxima-doc just follow these instructions.

Are you having problems? You can always add maxima-docagain by following the instructions at this link.

sudo apt-get remove maxima-doc

This will remove just the maxima-doc package itself.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maxima-doc

This will remove the maxima-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maxima-doc then this will work.

Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.

sudo apt-get purge maxima-doc

Or similarly, like this maxima-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maxima-doc
