How To Uninstall mpc-ace On Debian 7

To uninstall mpc-ace just follow these instructions.

Are you having problems? You can always add mpc-aceagain by following the instructions at this link.

sudo apt-get remove mpc-ace

This will remove just the mpc-ace package itself.

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mpc-ace

This will remove the mpc-ace package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mpc-ace then this will work.

Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.

sudo apt-get purge mpc-ace

Or similarly, like this mpc-ace

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mpc-ace
