How To Uninstall ncmpcpp On Debian 7

To uninstall ncmpcpp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ncmpcpp

ncurses-based client for the Music Player Daemon (MPD)Debian 7.0sound0.5.10-1.1
sudo apt-get remove ncmpcpp

This will remove just the ncmpcpp package itself.

Uninstall ncmpcpp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ncmpcpp

This will remove the ncmpcpp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ncmpcpp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ncmpcpp

Or similarly, like this ncmpcpp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ncmpcpp
