How To Uninstall r-cran-effects On Debian 7

To uninstall r-cran-effects just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-effects

GNU R graphical and tabular effects display for glm modelsDebian 7.0gnu-r2.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-effects

This will remove just the r-cran-effects package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-effects and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-effects

This will remove the r-cran-effects package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-effects then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-effects

Or similarly, like this r-cran-effects

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-effects
