How To Uninstall rakudo On Debian 7

To uninstall rakudo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rakudo

Perl 6 implementation on top of Parrot virtual machineDebian 7.0interpreters0.1~2012.01-1
sudo apt-get remove rakudo

This will remove just the rakudo package itself.

Uninstall rakudo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rakudo

This will remove the rakudo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rakudo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rakudo

Or similarly, like this rakudo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rakudo
