How To Uninstall samba4-common-bin On Debian 7

To uninstall samba4-common-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just samba4-common-bin

Samba 4 common files used by both the server and the clientDebian 7.0net4.0.0~beta2+dfsg1-3.2+deb7u2
sudo apt-get remove samba4-common-bin

This will remove just the samba4-common-bin package itself.

Uninstall samba4-common-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove samba4-common-bin

This will remove the samba4-common-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for samba4-common-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge samba4-common-bin

Or similarly, like this samba4-common-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove samba4-common-bin
