How To Uninstall samhain On Debian 7
To uninstall samhain just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always add samhainagain by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just samhain
http://installion.co.uk/debian/wheezy/main/s/samhain/uninstall/index.htmlData integrity and host intrusion alert systemDebian 7.0admin2.8.3a-1+deb7u1sudo apt-get remove samhain
This will remove just the samhain package itself.
Uninstall samhain and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove samhain
This will remove the samhain package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for samhain then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge samhain
Or similarly, like this samhain
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove samhain
