How To Uninstall samizdat On Debian 7

To uninstall samizdat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just samizdat

sudo apt-get remove samizdat

This will remove just the samizdat package itself.

Uninstall samizdat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove samizdat

This will remove the samizdat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for samizdat then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge samizdat

Or similarly, like this samizdat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove samizdat
