How To Uninstall tagtool on wheezy

To uninstall tagtool just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tagtool

Tool to tag and rename MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files Debian 7.0 sound 0.12.3-8.1

sudo apt-get remove tagtool

Which will remove just the tagtool package itself.

Uninstall tagtool and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tagtool

This will remove the tagtool package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tagtool then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tagtool  

Or similarly, like this tagtool

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tagtool
