How To Uninstall tango-db-dbg on wheezy

To uninstall tango-db-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tango-db-dbg

TANGO distributed control system - database server Debian 7.0 debug 7.2.6+dfsg-14

sudo apt-get remove tango-db-dbg

Which will remove just the tango-db-dbg package itself.

Uninstall tango-db-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tango-db-dbg

This will remove the tango-db-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tango-db-dbg then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tango-db-dbg  

Or similarly, like this tango-db-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tango-db-dbg
