How To Uninstall tart on wheezy

To uninstall tart just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tart

versatile and feature-rich email signature generator Debian 7.0 mail 3.09-1

sudo apt-get remove tart

Which will remove just the tart package itself.

Uninstall tart and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tart

This will remove the tart package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tart then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tart  

Or similarly, like this tart

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tart
