How To Uninstall task-file-server on wheezy

To uninstall task-file-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just task-file-server

File server Debian 7.0 tasks 3.14.1

sudo apt-get remove task-file-server

Which will remove just the task-file-server package itself.

Uninstall task-file-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove task-file-server

This will remove the task-file-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for task-file-server then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge task-file-server  

Or similarly, like this task-file-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove task-file-server
