How To Uninstall task on wheezy

To uninstall task just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just task

feature-rich console based todo list manager Debian 7.0 utils 2.0.0-1

sudo apt-get remove task

Which will remove just the task package itself.

Uninstall task and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove task

This will remove the task package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for task then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge task  

Or similarly, like this task

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove task
