How To Uninstall tcpspy on wheezy

To uninstall tcpspy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcpspy

Incoming and Outgoing TCP/IP connections logger Debian 7.0 net 1.7d-4

sudo apt-get remove tcpspy

Which will remove just the tcpspy package itself.

Uninstall tcpspy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcpspy

This will remove the tcpspy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcpspy then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcpspy  

Or similarly, like this tcpspy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcpspy
